What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard developed by Anthropic that lets AI assistants connect to external systems in a standardized way. If you use Claude, MCP lets your assistant directly query a system -- like the Hungarian tax authority or your invoicing software -- without you copy-pasting data between tabs.
Is it secure? What happens to my data?
connectors.hu is built on a zero-knowledge, envelope encryption architecture. Your master key lives only on your device -- only encrypted blobs are stored on our servers, and we cannot decrypt them even if we wanted to. API calls go directly to your systems. We do not store the content of your transactions. GDPR-compliant infrastructure, hosted in EU data centers.
How is this different from Glama.ai or Composio?
connectors.hu differs in three ways: (1) Hungarian local integrations (NAV, Billingo, MiniCRM) which global platforms do not cover. (2) Privacy-first BYOK architecture -- your data does not run through our servers. (3) SMB-friendly pricing and onboarding -- self-serve, not an enterprise sales funnel.
Which AI assistants does it work with?
Any MCP-compatible client: Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, ChatGPT (recent versions), and other MCP-enabled AI tools. MCP support is expanding rapidly.
Do I need to know how to code?
Setting up requires editing a config file (copy-paste level), with a detailed video walkthrough. If even that is too much, the Agency plan includes configuration support.
